A portrait is not about being flattered. It is about being taken seriously by people who have never met you — a client, a publisher, a board, a reader.

That is a question of light and of direction, not of filters. I explain posing briefly and concretely; you do not need to know what you are doing in front of a camera.

The studio is in Oberstenfeld: about 15 minutes from Heilbronn, 25 from Stuttgart and 20 from Ludwigsburg, with parking directly outside. If you live in the region and German is not your first language, that changes nothing about the session — the whole shoot can run in English.

From first conversation to finished images

    First conversation

    We settle the purpose: personal brand, book cover, a present, representation. Everything else follows from that.

  2. 02

    Look planning

    Clothing, make-up, setup. You know in advance which direction we are working in.

  3. 03

    The session

    In the studio or on location. Clear communication, short instructions. You do not have to be a professional in front of a camera.

  4. 04

    Selection and delivery

    Chosen together off the screen, retouched afterwards. Digital, plus print if you want it.

Common questions

Can the session run in English? +
Yes. Patrick speaks English, and the whole session — briefing, direction, image selection — can run in English.
What do I wear? +
Whatever fits the purpose of the picture. We work that out in the pre-shoot conversation; for a personal brand the clothing carries a lot of the message.
How many images do I get? +
Five, fifteen or thirty fully retouched files depending on the package — chosen together, not delivered as a bulk gallery.
Can we shoot outside the studio? +
Yes, with the Prestige package a location change is included. For the others it can be arranged.
How quickly do I get the images? +
Retouching usually takes about two weeks. If you have a deadline, say so at the start and we will plan around it.
