The nude art workshop with Simona was one of the standout days in the PR-Arts studio. She comes from Czechia, is internationally experienced and has worked as a Playboy cover model.
Her elegance, her confident posing and her openness created a focused, creative atmosphere from the first set. For the participants that meant the rare chance to work with someone who moves between nude, boudoir and fine art as a matter of course.
More than a shoot with a model
Patrick Rupp does not only show finished lighting builds, he explains the decisions behind them. Why does the light stand exactly there? What happens to shadow, skin, contour and mood? When does an image read as elegant, graphic or emotional?
That connection between technique, visual language and working with a model is what makes these workshops useful for photographers developing their own handwriting.

Patrick Rupp
I am Patrick Rupp, photographer and owner of the PR-Arts studio in Oberstenfeld near Stuttgart. I have been working professionally in portrait, boudoir and nude photography since 2014.
My position is simple: there is no excuse for bad light. That is why my workshops are built around controlled lighting, setups you can follow, and images that do not happen by accident.
These are not mass events. I want you to understand how emotion, form, light and composition come together — because that is what makes your own pictures stronger.
